  1. Anyone have any good tips on how to get this safely on the moon without a landing cage?

  2. Perhaps try docking it below your lander

  4. The download only contains the DEMV folder in parts. Is this correct?

  5. @ Nate
I had the same problem too. I figured that I needed to build a frame to land it on the Mun but what I did was send it up in the stack with a probe then detach the probe top once it lands but DO NOT destroy the probe because I’m pretty sure it ends the mission and removes the rover. I had done this before the 0.18 update the same way and actually did it with a bit more and landed on Minimus. Its actually a lot easier than I had orignally thought. Good Luck!

  6. To land it I built put a Rockomax Hubmax Multi-Point Connector on the top and put fuel tanks on every spot that was open. Then I put some rockets to control the fall and that was it. When it comes to the landing phase the ship only has 16 parts on it. Also you don’t need a probe on it because the DEMV mk1 is a command pod.

However I need help in the respect I can’t get the crew members out of the DEMV.

  10. This is great to use as a bus around the launch pad, filling up craft and retrieving landed kerbals.

  11. Hey was curious do mods for 18.2 work ok in 18.4?

  12. I absolutely love the design of this vehicle and the options it gives me. I’ve been using several Bobcat mods and I’ve loved every one of them. However, with this specific vehicle, I’m a little confused. I can’t place any crew in it whatsoever, despite launching it with zero occupants at all. Whenever I try to put a Kerbal inside, it says that the vehicle is full. Is there a chance that I somehow installed it incorrectly? Or could this be a bug? I’m using this with 18.4.

  13. I too can’t see my crew. I know they are in there, because I put it on a SRB then smacked it into the ocean at 150 m/s and got the kill report.

  14. For some reason, I cant see my crew or the cockpit view. It happens as well with the Ant. Havent tried Mk2 yet but I think it’s safe to assume the drill is the same. Anyone having the same problem?

  16. currently running KSP 20.2. Will this work or is there a similar rover i could use?

    Jordan Stokes July 5, 2013
  17. I downloaded this rover, and I am using KSP version 0.21.1.276

I drove it around KSC for roughly 20 minutes without incident or client problems. The crew did not show up in the lower right as they do with other vehicles; however, when I clicked on the crew hatch on the port side of the rover the crew was listed and were able to EVA.

The only other problem I encountered was an empty driver seat, and lack of an internal view. Minor issues, imho.

Overall though, very nice rover and I’m glad I downloaded it. I do hope the mod’s developer formally updates it to 0.21 though.
